Thailand: Wat Pho in Bangkok

I am finally in front of the Buddha Reclining!Wat Pho is located few minutes walk from the hostel where I was staying, the Bed and Bike hostel. The entrance cost for non-residents is 100 baht (almost 3 Euros), compared to the Grand Palace is really cheap and really worth a visit.
In the entrance you will be received a bottle of fresh water, various temples to visit and especially the temple of the reclining Buddha.

A magnificent Temple, that leaves you breathless!
The statue measures 46 meters in length and 15 in height.

This means that it needs eight high men to reach the top.
The sweet Buddha eyes contrasts with its golden mass, it seems that the spirit of childhood is transformed into wisdom while you watching his amazing shape.
When I was drawing the sculpture, which it is not easy because the amount of people who were photographing, I felt a Great Peace.

There was a continue ping in the background.
After I discovered that, behind the statue, they sold bags of coins intended for throw inside of juxtaposed bowls disposed along the entire length of the Temple.

The back of the neck and shoulders also, with its soft lines, inexorably attracted me.
I wanted to fuse myself with that being in a complete peace. The complex of Wat Pho was one of the finest artistic experiences.I understood how man can infuse his spirit, something high and pure, into the artfully carved material.
