Thailand: Bed and Bike hostel

Vintage + Vintage.

Bangkok is a city with a vintage style, and  Bed & Bike hostel is not less, although in the hostel the vintage is more decorative than "structural".

The indoor is new, well furnished and managed by kind Thai youth.
I appreciate a lot the attention for the design, even in the rooms and in the bathrooms (clean and with all the amenities).

Note: even in Thailand and Malaysia there are occidental toilets style, but you must throw away toilet papers in the bins, not in the water.
The water is not safe. In the hostel you find a water dispenser at the second floor (notice the stair: they maintain the old centenary stair, really beautiful!)

I divided my room (three bunk beds room) with other guests.
Upon the bed I found earplugs, a water bottle, and towels.
A great welcome! 

Some travelers bring with them the mosquito net, not me and I never need it, specially in the city.

I loved spend the time in the hall, where it is served a wonderful breakfast, abundant and with a lot of chooses. It is a very good way to start the day :) 

There is always a pleasant music in background, the TV is on (but without volume or with a low volume) and a big billiards in the middle.

One of the best thing in B&B is the location: the Grand Palace and the Wat Poh is located 20 minutes far by walk (there is also a bike booking service in the hostel).

Bangkok è una città dal fascino vintage e l'ostello Bed & Bike non è da meno, anche se in questo caso il vintage è più decorativo che "strutturale". 


L'interno è praticamente nuovo, ben arredato e gestito da giovani tailandesi. 
Ho apprezzato molto il design, sia delle stanze che dei bagni in comune (molto puliti e con il giusto numero di docce e servizi per la quantità di persone che ospita).

Nota: sia in Tailandia che in Malesia usano i bagni all'occidentale, ma la carta non va buttata nel water, bensì in un cestino a parte.
Oltretutto non si può bere l'acqua dal rubinetto. Al secondo piano dell'ostello c'è un dispensatore di acqua potabile.

Condividevo la stanza provvista di tre letti a castello con altre sei persone. 
Sopra il materasso ho trovato dei tappi per le orecchie, una bottiglietta d'acqua e gli asciugamani. Un ottimo benvenuto!

Alcuni viaggiatori si portano con sè le tende anti-zanzara; io non le ho comprate e devo dire di non averne mai avuto bisogno, specialmente in città.

Mi piaceva passare del tempo nell'atrio, dove viene servita anche una fantastica colazione, molto varia e abbondante. Per tre giorni non ho avuto neanche bisogno di pranzare o cenare visto che a colazione volevo provare tutte le pietanze!!

C'è sempre una dolce e piacevole musica di sottofondo, la tv accesa (l'audio non c'è o il volume è molto basso) e un grosso tavolo da biliardo al centro.

Una delle note migliori è la sua posizione: sta a 15/20 minuti dal Wat Poh e il Grand Palace, le principali "attrazioni" di Bangko (puoi anche noleggiare all'ostello una bicicletta).
